Erica Ashley has dedicated her life to music and at 14 that might sound a bit unremarkable. What is remarkable is that in only a handful of years she has developed a voice that people are already comparing to Demi Lovato and other contemporary artists twice her age.
It’s no surprise that Erica was drawn to music since her father and uncle were both professional musicians. This family connection led to her first studio experience only weeks after her 13th birthday. She recorded a series of reference vocals and her voice was responsible for placements and track selections with well known publishers and music industry professionals, including Jake McKim of Birch Street Music who worked side by side with Beyonce Knowles.
A year later Erica signed with PopRiot Music Group and she dove into recording headfirst. What came out of those sessions is nothing short of amazing and her single “Where Are We Now?” is proof of that. Passion, maturity, depth, and range - that’s a tall order for anyone but almost unheard of from such a young artist.
Since then her music and voice have landed her performances on CBS Television, direct support for Travis Garland & Colby O'Donis Fashionably Late Tour, and on top of that she is #1 on ReverbNation's pop chart. Take a moment and listen for yourself. 14 years old and the possibilities are endless.
“Listening to “Where Are We Now?” will immediately bring comparisons of Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry and even a pop-sounding Carrie Underwood. Here’s the kicker though…she’s only 14. She has decided to go after her dreams and seems to be on the way to achieving them. We’ll all be there saying I remember when she was….”

"Erica was fun to work with and an awesome musician. She tackled a wide variety of songs, and made them her own. She is a true pro at a young age!”
